Throughout his career, Dr. Shashikant has held esteemed positions at leading medical centers, where he has specialized in a wide range of plastic surgery techniques. His career began in the United States Army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center prior to moving to civilian practice. His innovative approaches and attention to detail have earned him recognition as a pioneer in the field, contributing to advancement in facial rejuvenation, breast reconstruction, body contouring, and more. Dr. Shashikant is known not only for his technical expertise, but also for his compassionate approach to patient care. 

Outside of his practice, Dr. Shashikant enjoys spending time with his wife, Beth, and their four children. He is an avid bird hunter, hunting dog trainer, and fly fisherman, as well as a passionate cook.
